Akko 5075 V5 HE Magnetic Keyboard

FPS players want keys that respond the instant they let go, and anyone who also types wants arrows and a function row. The Akko 5075 V5 HE brings both together: a 75% Hall Effect magnetic keyboard with 0.001 mm rapid trigger, 8000Hz, a 16K scan rate and a programmable rotary knob.

Hakutaku switches and rapid trigger

The Hakutaku magnetic switches measure key position with a magnetic field. You choose the actuation point between 0.1 and 3.4 mm and turn on rapid trigger, with 0.001 mm sensitivity: the key deactivates as soon as it starts to rise and reactivates as soon as it goes down. If you’re still deciding, we explain the difference in Hall Effect vs mechanical.

With 8000Hz polling and a 16K scan rate, every keypress reaches the PC every 0.125 ms. The processor is a Cortex-M4.

75% layout and rotary knob

There are 82 keys, with a function row and arrows, in a body shorter than a TKL. The rotary knob is programmable and the side controls give quick access to the keyboard functions. The feet have two angle positions.

Build and sound

The case is ABS and the plate is aluminium, gasket mounted. Underneath there is a one-piece, full-width silicone pad and silicone pillars, which mute the sound and take the echo out of the case.

The keycaps are Cherry profile and the ARGB lighting is on both sides, north and south-facing.

GAMER UNLOCKED TEAM’S TAKE

Who it’s for: FPS players who also type a lot and want a magnetic keyboard with arrows, a function row and a volume knob, in a layout that leaves room for the mouse.

Who it’s not for: Anyone who needs a wireless connection or a numpad. If you want an even smaller layout, there are other magnetic keyboards.

Honest notes: The case is ABS, not aluminium: the keyboard is lighter and the sound depends mostly on the silicone inside. This is the wired-only version.

⚠️ ANSI layout and wired only: US (ANSI) layout, with no extra key next to the left Shift. If you type a lot in a European language, read our guide ANSI vs ISO first. It connects by USB-C cable only.
