Akko MOD68 HE ISO-UK Wireless Magnetic Keyboard
An aluminium 65% usually makes you choose between build, wireless and performance. The Akko MOD68 HE combines a CNC aluminium case, Hall Effect magnetic switches with rapid trigger, 8000Hz over cable and on 2.4 GHz and a 10000 mAh battery, in an ISO-UK layout.
AstroAim switches and rapid trigger
The AstroAim magnetic switches are linear, with 35 gf at the start of the travel and 55 gf at the bottom. The actuation point goes from 0.1 to 3.4 mm and rapid trigger from 0.005 to 2.5 mm. If you’re still deciding, we explain the difference in Hall Effect vs mechanical.
Polling is 8000Hz over cable and on 2.4 GHz, and 125Hz over Bluetooth, with a 16K scan rate. The keyboard accepts five magnetic switch models from other brands.
CNC aluminium and gasket mount
The case is machined aluminium and the plate is aluminium too, gasket mounted, with Poron foam inside. The stabilisers are plate-mounted and the ARGB lighting is south-facing.
Wireless with 10000 mAh
It connects over USB-C, through the 2.4 GHz receiver or by Bluetooth 5.0, and the battery is 10000 mAh. Setup is done in the Akko web and cloud driver, in the browser.

Who it’s for: Anyone who wants a wireless 65% that is heavy and well built, with rapid trigger and 8000Hz through the receiver too, and prefers the ISO layout with a tall Enter.
Who it’s not for: Anyone who wants PBT keycaps out of the box, a function row or a light keyboard to carry in a backpack. There are other magnetic keyboards in other layouts.
Honest notes: The keycaps are PC+ABS with printed legends: they let the light through, but they pick up shine with use sooner than PBT. Over Bluetooth polling drops to 125Hz, so use the cable or the receiver for gaming.
⚠️ ISO-UK layout: British (ISO) layout, with a tall Enter and the extra key next to the left Shift, with English legends. Physically it has the same keys as other European ISO keyboards; see our guide ANSI vs ISO for how to choose the layout in your OS.
