Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the purchase of a good or service on our website, or with the solution we have given you, please contact us first at support@gamerunlocked.pt: we always try to resolve the situation directly.
You can also submit a complaint through the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt/inicio/, or turn to one of the alternative dispute resolution entities listed below. If you live in another European Union country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with cross-border disputes (ECC-Net: https://www.eccnet.eu/).
What is Alternative Dispute Resolution?
Alternative dispute resolution allows all consumers to turn to official bodies to help resolve or guide them through a conflict, before initiating legal proceedings. As a general rule, the procedure is as follows: the customer asks an impartial third party to act as an intermediary between them and the trader who is the subject of their complaint. The intermediary can suggest a solution to their complaint, impose a solution on both parties, or bring the parties together to find a solution.
You may know the concept of alternative dispute resolution by another name: “mediation”, “conciliation”, “arbitration,” or “commission competent in the field of consumer disputes”.
Alternative dispute resolution is generally less expensive, less formal, and quicker than the judicial route.
