You shouldn’t need one headset for gaming and another for music. The Moondrop Gravity GM-01 PRO combines 50 mm dynamic drivers, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 6.0, USB audio and a 3.5 mm input. It includes a detachable microphone with AI noise reduction and adjustable EQ, in a closed over-ear design built for gaming and everyday use.

50 mm dynamic drivers

The drivers use a composite diaphragm with a carbon fibre dome and N52 neodymium magnets. The dome combines stiffness, low weight and good internal damping, which helps with fast treble and detail in ambient sounds.

The tuning was developed with professional esports players, focusing on picking out footsteps, movement and other key sounds in titles such as VALORANT, CS and Apex Legends. The aim is to make sound positioning easier without limiting the headset to gaming.

Four connection modes

2.4 GHz wireless uses the included receiver, which connects via USB-C and USB-A. Moondrop quotes a theoretical latency of 15 ms and 30 ms measured across the full chain, with a stable connection at over 10 m with no obstacles.

Bluetooth 6.0 lets you use the headset with your phone or other devices without the receiver. When you prefer a cable, you also have digital USB audio and a 3.5 mm analogue input.

EQ in the browser

The GM-01 PRO has a DSP you configure through a web page, with no software to install. You choose game profiles, adjust the tuning in real time, and the settings are saved on the headset itself, so they work on any device.

The Sound Target ID tool remembers your sound positioning preferences. Configuration is done with the headset connected via 2.4 GHz.

Detachable microphone

The microphone system uses dual capture with beamforming and AI noise reduction to prioritise your voice and cut some of the background noise. The detachable boom is omnidirectional and comes with a foam filter that reduces breathing and plosive sounds.

When you don’t need to talk to your team, you remove the boom. Physical controls let you adjust the volume and mute the microphone without opening your computer’s settings.

Comfort and battery life

At under 270 g, with a clamping force below 4 N and memory foam ear cushions covered in breathable fabric, the GM-01 PRO is designed for long sessions.

The 1000 mAh battery gives up to 100 hours on 2.4 GHz or 150 hours over Bluetooth. A full charge via USB-C takes about 2.5 hours, and 10 minutes of charging gives roughly 2 hours of use.
