The Chu 2 improves on its predecessor with a redesigned acoustic architecture and a detachable cable. The new aluminium-magnesium alloy diaphragm, CNC-machined brass nozzle and acoustic filters work together for sound well above its price range.
With 119 dB sensitivity, they come alive even with low-powered sources. Instruments have texture and air, vocals sound intimate yet open, and bass is fast and clean even in busy tracks. The wider soundstage gives music a more spacious presence.
For listeners on a budget, the Chu 2 is an easy recommendation: its neutral tuning works for any genre, from classical to EDM.
