KEFINE Delci AE IEM
Getting more than one sound signature from a single dynamic-driver IEM usually means relying on EQ. The Delci AE takes a different approach, pairing a 10mm DLC+PU dynamic driver with interchangeable tuning nozzles that let you alter the presentation directly at the earphone.
10mm DLC+PU Dynamic Driver
The Delci AE uses a single 10mm dynamic driver with a composite diaphragm. The dome uses DLC, or Diamond-Like Carbon, while PU is used as part of the diaphragm structure.
DLC combines low mass with high rigidity. In practice, the aim is to maintain fast driver movement and extend upper-frequency response without adding another driver type or crossover.
The dual-cavity acoustic structure also gives the driver more control over low-frequency behaviour, keeping the Delci AE focused around a single-driver design rather than a hybrid configuration.
Two Interchangeable Tuning Nozzles
The Delci AE includes two interchangeable tuning nozzles, giving the same IEM two different tonal directions.
The Silver nozzle provides the warmer and smoother presentation.
The Gold nozzle shifts the balance towards greater brightness, clarity and upper-frequency presence.
Changing the nozzle alters the tuning at hardware level. You can move between the two signatures without using EQ or additional software.
CNC-Machined Aluminium Shell
The shells are manufactured from aluminium alloy using CNC machining.
The compact metal construction keeps the Delci AE low-profile while giving the internal driver a rigid enclosure. Each earpiece weighs approximately 5.3g, so the use of metal does not turn it into a particularly heavy IEM.
Detachable 0.78mm 2-Pin Cable
The cable connects through a standard 0.78mm 2-pin interface.
That matters for long-term use. If the cable is damaged or you want to try another compatible cable later, the IEM itself does not need to be replaced.
The cable combines oxygen-free copper and silver-plated copper conductors and measures approximately 1.2m.
Team Opinion
The Delci AE makes the most sense if you want to keep the simplicity and coherence of a single dynamic driver but still have some control over the final tuning.
The interchangeable nozzles are the main reason to choose the AE version. The Silver option leans warmer and smoother, while the Gold nozzle gives you more upper-frequency presence without requiring software or EQ.
At 28Ω and 108dB sensitivity, it is also relatively easy to drive from common portable sources.
If you want several driver types working across different frequency ranges, the Delci AE is not a hybrid IEM. The Quatio, for example, takes a very different 2DD+2BA approach.
⚠️ 3.5mm version: Gamer Unlocked currently stocks the 3.5mm single-ended version of the Delci AE.
