GAMER UNLOCKED TEAM’S TAKE
Who it’s for: Anyone who wants a balanced-sounding IEM, with a Harman tuning adjusted by Crinacle, for music and for gaming on PC, console or phone. At 119.5 dB/Vrms sensitivity, it plays well straight from a 3.5 mm output. The mic version covers Discord and calls (see IEMs vs gaming headsets).
Who it’s not for: Anyone after heavy bass: the tuning is balanced, and the included 5 Ω adapter adds a little bass presence, but it does not turn it into a bass-heavy IEM.
Honest notes: It comes with a 3.5 mm cable: on a phone without a jack you need a USB-C dongle (see our DAC/AMPs). Impedance is low (5.8 Ω), so some motherboards and laptops may add a faint background hiss; a dongle fixes that too. The mic is on the cable: fine for voice chat, but not the voice quality of a headset with a boom arm.
