VXE Dragonfly X3 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse
The biggest annoyance with a wireless mouse is running out of battery mid-game. The VXE Dragonfly X3 Pro solves this simply: it comes with two 300mAh batteries and a magnetic dock, so there’s always a charged one waiting. At 51g, with a PAW3395SE sensor and three connection modes, it’s a mouse for medium to large hands that want a light, hassle-free wireless option.
Swappable battery and magnetic dock
Each 300mAh battery lasts around 50 hours. When it runs out, take out the one in the mouse, put in the one that was charging and carry on.
The RGB magnetic dock charges the spare battery, works as an extender to bring the receiver closer to the mouse and doubles as a phone stand.
PAW3395SE sensor and 1000Hz connection
The PAW3395SE goes from 200 to 18,000 DPI, with 400 IPS and 40 G, paired with a Broadcom CX52850SE SoC and ApexShark firmware.
Over cable and 2.4GHz the polling rate goes up to 1000Hz. Over Bluetooth it stays at 125Hz, which is fine for work and the laptop but not for serious gaming. It isn’t an 8K mouse, and for most players 1000Hz is enough (we explain why in the polling rate guide).
Shape, switches and forged finish
It measures 127 × 64 × 40 mm, a size that fills medium to large hands well. The Omron mechanical switches are rated for 100 million clicks and the scroll wheel uses a TTC Silver encoder.
The Pro version has a shell with a forged texture and Nano coating, with good grip even with warm hands. The 0.6 mm skates come pre-applied and everything is configured in ATK HUB 3.0.
GAMER UNLOCKED TEAM’S TAKE
Who it’s for: Medium to large hands that want a light wireless mouse and don’t want to think about when to charge the battery. Bluetooth makes it a good choice if you use the same mouse at home and on the laptop.
Who it’s not for: Anyone after 8000Hz or the newest sensor for top-level FPS. Small hands will find the mouse large. See the other gaming mice if you need a different shape.
Honest notes: The 51 ± 3 g is measured without battery, skates and receiver, so in the hand the mouse sits a bit above that. 50 hours per battery is less than mice with a fixed battery, but the swap makes up for it.
