ATK Sky XSoft Gaming Mousepad – Hybrid, 490×420 mm

ATK Sky XSoft Gaming Mousepad

A very fast pad makes you fight to stop your crosshair; a very slow one tires your arm when tracking. The ATK Sky XSoft sits in the middle: a cloth surface with a balanced glide, a soft 4 mm XSoft base and a 490 × 420 mm area.

Balanced surface

The composite fibre cloth surface (Composite Blend Fiber Weave) glides effortlessly when tracking and gives enough resistance to stop your aim on target. It’s a hybrid profile that works for both tracking and flick-heavy games.

XSoft base in Korean polyurethane

The XSoft base is soft and compresses a little when you press on the mouse. More pressure means more stopping power, which many players use for micro-adjustments.

The Korean polyurethane grips the desk well, and the pad stays in place even during wide arm movements.

Recessed edges and size

The recessed edges sit below the surface, so your wrist and forearm don’t feel a step as you cross the edge. At 490 × 420 mm there’s plenty of room for low sensitivities. If you’re weighing up materials, we explain the differences in glass vs cloth.

GAMER UNLOCKED TEAM’S TAKE

Who it’s for: FPS players who want a versatile cloth pad that’s neither too fast nor too slow, and who like a soft base.

Who it’s not for: Anyone who wants a very fast pad or a rigid base. See the other mousepads if you’re after a Speed profile or a glass pad.

Honest notes: The XSoft base gives a little, so the feel changes with how hard you press on the mouse. If you’re coming from a firm-base pad, you may need a few days to get used to it.
