X-raypad Meteorite Glass Mouse Skates

PTFE skates lose their shape with use, and the glide keeps changing from week to week. The X-raypad Meteorite Glass are universal dots made of high-hardness glass, 6.5 mm in diameter, that keep the same glide for much longer on cloth pads.

High-hardness glass

Glass resists scratches and abrasion, so the contact surface barely wears on cloth. The glide stays stable over time, and there’s none of the break-in period typical of PTFE.

17.5D arc polish

Each dot has a rounded face, polished to a jewellery-grade finish (17.5D Arc). With no sharp edges, the skate doesn’t catch on the pad fibres: starts are quick, emergency stops get easier and fine adjustments respond straight away.

Where to use them

The X-raypad Meteorite Glass are for cloth and plastic pads. On very soft pads, such as those with an XSoft base, the dot can sink between 0.5 and 1 mm and the glide turns rough. If you’re still choosing a pad, we explain the differences in glass vs cloth.

Who it’s for: Players on cloth who swap skates often and want a glide that doesn’t change over time.

Who it’s not for: Players on a glass or metal pad, or on a very soft pad. See the other mouse accessories for those cases.

Honest notes: Glass on cloth is very fast off the mark, and some people find it strange for the first few days. The box has 8 dots: count how many contact points you want on your mouse base before you buy.

⚠️ Never on glass or metal: On glass or metal pads, these dots make a high-pitched noise and can strip the polished layer off the pad surface. Only use them on cloth or plastic.
