ATK X83 XSoft Gaming Mousepad – Hybrid, 490×420 mm

ATK X83 XSoft Gaming Mousepad

The pad changes how a mouse behaves as much as the mouse itself. The ATK X83 XSoft goes for a Special Weave cloth surface with a consistent glide and an XSoft base in Poron polyurethane, at 490 × 420 × 4 mm.

Special Weave surface

The special cloth weave gives a consistent glide that doesn’t suddenly speed up or drag. It sits in a hybrid profile, between speed and control, good for switching between tracking and flicks.

XSoft base in Poron polyurethane

Poron is a polyurethane foam known for holding its shape over time. At XSoft firmness it’s soft and gives under pressure, which means more stopping power when you press on the mouse.

The same base grips the desk well, so the pad doesn’t slide during wide arm movements.

Recessed edges and size

The recessed edges sit below the surface, and your wrist doesn’t feel a step as it crosses the edge. At 490 × 420 mm you have room for low sensitivities. If you’re weighing up materials, we explain the differences in glass vs cloth.

GAMER UNLOCKED TEAM’S TAKE

Who it’s for: Anyone who wants a large, balanced cloth pad with a soft base that gives control on micro-adjustments. It’s a versatile choice for FPS.

Who it’s not for: Anyone who prefers a fast pad or a firm base. See the other mousepads if you’re after a Speed profile or a glass pad.

Honest notes: The XSoft base gives a little, so the feel changes with how hard you press on the mouse. If you’re coming from a firm-base pad, you may need a few days to get used to it.
