MonsGeek M1 V5 HE – 8K Polling & 0.005mm Rapid Trigger Keyboard
149,90 € Inc. VAT
Key Features:
- 0.005mm Rapid Trigger & 32,000Hz Scan Rate – Actuation and reset resolve in 0.005mm steps. At 32K scanning, re-actuation registers before most keyboards finish processing the initial press.
- 8,000Hz Polling — Wired and 2.4GHz Wireless – Full 8K responsiveness over both connection types. No latency penalty for cutting the cable.
- Snap Key (SOCD) – Latest directional input always wins. Clean, predictable counter-strafes in CS2 and Valorant without ambiguous outputs.
- Akko AstroAim Switches — Cross-Compatible – Factory-lubed linear, 35gf, deep low-pitched acoustics. Swap to any N-pole downward-facing third-party magnetic switch per-key without changing keyboards.
- Arm Cortex-M4 + 15 Dedicated Logic ICs – Auxiliary tasks offloaded from the MCU to keep TProcessing stable under sustained burst input at 32K scan speeds.
Mice Hand Size Guide
Determining the right size for your gaming mouse involves considering factors such as shape and grip style. However, our focus here is on the size of your hand in relation to the mouse. The measurements provided serve as a guide to help you make an informed choice:
Length: Measure from the base of the palm to the top of the middle finger.
Width: Measure from the joint of the thumb to the edge of the palm.
These measurements are indicative and are for reference only.
| Mouse Size | Hand Lenght | Hand Width |
| Small | Less than 17 cm | Less than 8.5 cm |
| Medium | 17 cm to 19.5 cm | 8.5 cm to 9.5 cm |
| Large | More than 19 cm | More than 9.5 cm |
MonsGeek M1 V5 HE – 8K Polling & 0.005mm Rapid Trigger Keyboard
The MonsGeek M1 V5 HE is a 75% aluminum gasket-mount keyboard built exclusively for magnetic switches. It ships with Akko AstroAim linear switches and targets competitive players who need sub-0.01mm Rapid Trigger precision over both wired and wireless — without a polling rate penalty.
Rapid Trigger & Scan Rate Architecture
Actuation and reset points are independently configurable in 0.005mm steps across the full 3.5mm key travel — the finest RT resolution available in this price segment. At a 32,000Hz scan rate, even a 0.1mm finger lift is resolved across multiple scan cycles, making 0.005mm RT stable rather than erratic. To sustain that without adding processing latency, 15 dedicated logic ICs offload auxiliary tasks from the Arm Cortex-M4 MCU — the architecture that separates this implementation from cheaper 32K alternatives that bottleneck under burst input.
RT Stabilizer mode filters unintended actuations caused by hand tremors at sub-0.01mm sensitivity, without affecting intentional inputs.
8K Polling — Wired and 2.4GHz Wireless
8,000Hz polling is active on both USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless. Bluetooth drops to 125Hz and is intended for multi-device switching (up to 3 devices via Fn+E/R/T), not competitive play. Wireless 8K polling at this price point is uncommon — most Hall Effect keyboards still cap wireless at 1K.
Snap Key, Mod-Tap & Toggle Key
Snap Key is MonsGeek's SOCD implementation: the most recently pressed directional input takes priority, enabling clean counter-strafes in CS2 and Valorant without ambiguity. Mod-Tap adds dual-function keys (tap vs. hold), and Toggle Key turns any key into a persistent on/off switch — useful for crouch-toggle or push-to-talk.
Akko AstroAim Switches & Cross-Compatibility
Linear, factory-lubed, 35gf initial force, 3.5mm travel. The POM stem and PA66 housing produce a deeper, lower-pitched sound than most Hall Effect switches — noticeably less hollow. The chassis accepts any downward-facing N-pole magnetic switch from third-party brands, with per-key mixing and automatic calibration via MonsGeek Driver.
Build & Acoustics
Gasket mount with PORON plate foam and IXPE switch pads for a cushioned bottom-out. Stabilizer wires are demagnetized to prevent magnetic field interference — a detail that matters on large keys where standard stab wire would cause inconsistent actuation readings. Ball-catch quick-release opens the case tool-free.
Founder's Take
The M1 V5 HE reaches 0.005mm RT at a price that has no direct equivalent right now. The 32K scan rate is the correct architecture to back that claim — without the IC offloading, 32K would generate overhead that negates the precision gain. The AstroAim switch addresses the main reason players abandon Hall Effect keyboards: the sound. It's not identical to a well-tuned mechanical linear, but it's closer than anything else in this platform at this price. Wireless 8K polling makes this the most complete competitive wireless keyboard in our catalogue.
Honest caveat: no QMK or VIA — MonsGeek Driver only. Non-issue for players who set RT and play. Relevant for anyone who needs deep layout remapping.
⚠️ Compatibility Notice: Magnetic switches only — MX mechanical switches are NOT supported. For a keyboard that runs both magnetic and mechanical switches simultaneously, see the MonsGeek M1 V5 TMR.
⚠️ Software Note: Configuration via MonsGeek Driver (browser-based) only. QMK and VIA are not supported.
