MonsGeek M2 V5 HE \u2013 98-Key 1800 Compact Magnetic Keyboard, 8K Polling<\/h2>\n

The MonsGeek M2 V5 HE is the answer to a question most Hall Effect keyboards ignore: what if you need a numpad? It brings the same 0.005mm Rapid Trigger, 32K scan rate, and 8K wireless polling from the M1 V5 HE into a 98-key 1800 compact layout \u2014 full function row, numpad, arrows, and navigation cluster, in a footprint significantly smaller than a standard full-size keyboard.<\/p>\n

Rapid Trigger & Scan Rate Architecture<\/h3>\n

Actuation and reset points are configurable in 0.005mm steps across the full 3.5mm key travel. At a 32,000Hz scan rate, even a 0.1mm finger lift is resolved across multiple scan cycles \u2014 which is what makes sub-0.01mm RT stable rather than erratic. 15 dedicated logic ICs offload auxiliary tasks from the Arm Cortex-M4 MCU, keeping TProcessing consistent under burst input without the architectural bottleneck that affects cheaper 32K implementations.<\/p>\n

RT Stabilizer mode filters unintended actuations from hand tremors at sub-0.01mm sensitivity, without affecting intentional inputs.<\/p>\n

8K Polling \u2014 Wired and 2.4GHz Wireless<\/h3>\n

8,000Hz polling runs on both USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless. Bluetooth drops to 125Hz and covers multi-device switching (up to 3 devices via Fn+E\/R\/T) \u2014 not competitive sessions. Wireless 8K polling on a full-featured 98-key board is uncommon at this price point.<\/p>\n

DKS, Snap Key & Advanced Input<\/h3>\n

DKS (Dynamic Key Switch) maps four independent actions to a single key \u2014 light press triggers action one, deeper press triggers action two, with two configurable release points. Useful for condensing actions on a layout where key real estate is less of a constraint, but precision input layers add genuine value.<\/p>\n

Snap Key handles SOCD by outputting the most recently pressed directional input, enabling clean counter-strafes in CS2 and Valorant. Mod-Tap adds dual-function keys (tap vs. hold), and Toggle Key turns any key into a persistent on\/off switch.<\/p>\n

Akko AstroAim Switches & Cross-Compatibility<\/h3>\n

Linear, factory-lubed, 35gf initial force, 3.5mm travel. The POM stem and PA66 housing produce a deeper, lower-pitched sound than most Hall Effect switches \u2014 noticeably less hollow. Cross-compatible with any downward-facing N-pole magnetic switch from third-party brands, with per-key mixing and automatic calibration via MonsGeek Driver.<\/p>\n

Build & Acoustics<\/h3>\n

Gasket mount with PORON plate foam and IXPE switch pads for a cushioned bottom-out. Stabilizer wires are demagnetized to prevent magnetic field interference on large keys. Ball-catch quick-release opens the case tool-free.<\/p>\n
